Bild: Vision Research IncThe ultrahigh-speed camera Phantom v1840 provides a very high image quality at 18Gpix/sec. It has the lowest noise floor of any Phantom camera and a high 64dB dynamic range. It utilizes a custom CMOS 4MP sensor to capture 12-bit images at a speed of 4,510fps at full resolution and 8,570fps at 1920x1080. The camera comes equipped with five operating modes: standard mode; high-speed mode (with 34% more throughput); binning in both standard and HS mode for higher sensitivity and frame rates; and Bright Field mode for exceptionally bright, or shot-noise limited, backgrounds.
